Glad to see someone raise this – It was bugging me a little. Also, DOF – Blurring around the edges of her will result in some of the foreground showing blur while the background is sharp. I know this video is about PS technique, not photography 101, but if people don’t stop and think about adherence to the principles of photography, it’s gonna result in some images that just don’t look right at all.

i dont get it, why is ur dvd photoshop so cheap, walmart is 90 bucks
Thanks but way too much advertising yourself lol
not helping… get to the point!
You are correct this is just why I did this. I want to get people to see the light and learn how this little mistake can make or break a picture. Good work.
The “sun out” light-ing up the picture seems a little strange, correct me if i’m wrong.
But a regular person would understand the shadow is on the opposite side of the sun, hence a darker face
thank you so much! this is one of those few tutorials that actually click! you awesome person
One more thing to blend the image, you can flip the image horizontally so the light on her (coming from the left) looks like it’s coming from the sun, after that you can use a lighting effect if needed. Also you can try to match the sun’s color by changing the color balance on her layer.
Thank you:)
how do you add a picture watermark to a picture?
Does anyone know how to create a Vector Mask Layer on Photoshop element 6?
Thank YOU!!!
Sure
Love your videos but why would you wear that ‘business suit’ whilst on a tropical holiday
Concerning the back ground files – do you make your own or are they pre-made in photoshop to choose from? Can you down load samples from somewhere?
if i’m not mistaking, you can find them. they are just pictures. just google image some backround photos. somebody correct if i’m wrong here, but that’s what i do.
I dont have any options when I click organize……How can I get to backgrounds?
nice video man! thanks!
Most people dont have a picture of them on a clean background. That is what is causing the problem that it looks fake. They have pictures with busy backgrounds. This is helpful to people with professional pictures taken of them
I’m sorry once you have it selected use your DELETE key.
how do you delete background?? You don’t say what key does that!! you just do it!!
I just wanted to see how many people caught that. This is showing that you are learning well!
Good Job.
Bullshit.
